The plan is to complete unit 504 using the Learner Statement template. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with others is crucial to delivering care to the highest quality. This is because providing care for someone requires the assistance and collaboration of many different services as well as different individuals. Therefore it is important that each individual understands the objectives and specific roles and responsibilities of everyone involved, in order to avoid confrontation or miscommunication.   This unit aims to develop the learners understanding of partnership working as well as helping them develop improvements within the service. This improvements aim to aid partnership working in order to provide a higher quality level of care and support for those accessing the service, as well as providing a more considerate working environment for colleagues.   Learners should consider the following questions as a starting point to this unit:  How many different agencies/ individuals do teams work with on a daily basis?  What percentage of interactions are positive?  What are the roles and responsibilities of managers in developing good working relationships?  How can innovative procedures be developed that engage colleagues and promote effective partnership working?   Learning outcomes In this unit, learners will be able to: 1. Understand the context of relationships and partnership working 2. Lead effective relationships with those using adult care services and their families 3. Manage working relationships with colleagues in the organisation 4. Work in partnership with professionals in other agencies   Please ensure you read the guidance beneath each Learning Outcome in the Learner Statement to ensure you answer each point fully.   All learning outcomes will be covered on observations which will be organised at a later date.   Using the Learner Statement template provided I would like you to answer these questions using your knowledge and your day to day practices.
