Sports managers in both the recreation centers and sports team play an essential role in the success of organizations. For this reason, they require a myriad of skills because they interact with different professionals such as sales persons, marketing professionals, and accountants with an aim not only entertaining fans but also achieving business targets (Mihaela et al., 2014). More importantly, sports managers are the foundations of effective human resource management in recreation companies. For instance, they contribute greatly to hiring top talents, motivating, and enhancing their professional growth (Iconomescu et al., 2017). The paper would analyze the roles and responsibilities of sports managers in ensuring the success of human resources in the organization.
