Question (1): Students are invited to prepare their individual contribution in form of the research to search for similarities and differences between Public and Private sector projects.

Students are invited to prepare their research paper to address the following issues:

• What are the biggest challenges of public and private sector projects?
• Which project life cycle model (traditional, agile…) is more appropriate for public and/or private sector?
• What are the major specificities and differences between public and private sector projects from the point of view of their planning and scheduling? Propose adequate model of planning and scheduling between 2 sectors having in mind the characteristics of agile and traditional methodologies.
• Recognize and explain the importance of project stakeholders, top management commitment, and the need for organizational standards comparing private and public projects,
• Recognize and identify similarities and differences in tools and techniques for managing project teams in public and private organizations: observation, performance appraisal, conflict management.
• How communication problem solving is done in public and private projects having in mind the applicability of different project methodologies that can be used.
• Propose actions and measures to avoid pitfalls for these projects
