The residents might be expressing worries concerning disturbance that is caused by Lynn. She exhibits bizarre behavior sometimes. Neighbors are concerned about Lynn’s behavior. There is a high chance that age and cultural background play a part in their impression of Lynn. Changes that take place during the development period from childhood to adulthood lead to the transformation of intergenerational relations (Albert & Trommsdorff, 2014). Also, different cultures have diverse values which may affect how people relate with one another. In such a case, things that may be acceptable in one culture may not be acceptable in another culture. Therefore, it may affect interactions.
The federal laws that could help solve the issue is the Noise Control Act of 1972. It ensures that people live in a peaceful environment that does not affect their health (Environmental Protection Agency, 2020. The federal law offers information to the public that ensures that they respect noise emission and the reduction of noise. Maria Sanchez is concerned about Lynn’s disturbance in the neighborhood. According to her she causes disturbance at various times of the day and night. Therefore, the Noise Control Act of 1972 would ensure that the neighbors live peacefully. The federal law is important in dealing with the noise sources.
As an advocate I would ensure that I advise Lynn on how to coexist with people from different cultures and age groups. It is important for her to understand that individuals have different expectations. Individuals go through changes in the behavior over the life span. Additionally, culture plays a huge part in the development process (Albert & Trommsdorff, 2014). It is important for Lynn to understand the federal laws that protect every person from disturbance. It would ensure that she understands how to live with her neighbor.

Another neighbor Paul (35 years old, Black and gay) has called for a meeting of the residents to discuss the “new type” of resident. You are a local advocate who knows Lynn and the situation that is brewing in her residence.
