Assessment Brief

The assessment for Collaborative Working is 1 component part:

Individual Presentation           100%

Each Student will complete a presentation and submit presentation notes.

You are required to carry out an individual presentation paper with a maximum of 10 (PowerPoint) slides supported by a maximum of 1500-word count note.  The slides and notes would have to be submitted together as a single document (either Word or PDF) and present the following;

  • Explain and apply relevant theories in relation to communication, motivation and teamwork that can develop professional relationships and facilitate collaborative working in health and social care.
  • Discuss how to manage conflicts, challenge poor or ineffective professional relationships and analyse how these can be improved considering the potential impact on the service user.
  • Explore the importance of developing professional relationships for collaborative working in the health and social care sector.
  • Critically evaluate the importance of professional relationships in collaborative working to improve standards in care within the industry.
